Story Time and the USS Slater tomorrow

Don’t forget tomorrow, Tuesday, April 3, starting at 10:30 we’ll be having story time with Miss Kayleigh, followed by a program for kids provided by the USS Slater Museum.

Fine Forgiveness week!!

The Library will be offering a Food Drive to support the City’s Food Pantries from April 2nd -13th. Bring your donations to the library that week and we will forgive fines on your card. Please consider donating items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, soap, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent and dish detergent, as these are often in short supply. (Certain limitations apply. Ask library staff for details.)

Doll Collection on display the Cohoes Public Library

Come see a selection from Linda Larmon’s personal doll collection. Linda has an elaborate collection of new and older dolls collected from around the world. Come down and see a part of that collection at the Library, on display through April 13th.

The Cohoes Public Library Celebrates National Library Week – April 9 – 13, 2018

Come down to the Library and enjoy all the interesting and fun programming the Library has to offer! Space will likely be limited for these events, so please call ahead, (518) 235-2570, to register.

Monday 4/9
·      Author Pauline Bartel to Speak from 2-3pm
·      Photography Club 6:00PM
·      Erik Schlimmer, Founding Member of the Friends of the Trans Adirondack Route, to speak on Adirondack Place Names 6:30pm

Tuesday – April 10
·      Recognition of Library Personnel with Mayor Shawn Morse. 10:30am

Wednesday – April 11
·      Presentation by the USS Slater museum 10:30AM (Note, this will be a different program than that offered to the kids the prior week.)
·      BeauKnitters Knitting and Crocheting Club welcome those who would like to learn to knit. Instructions at no charge. 12-3pm

Thursday – April 12
·      We take a breath!

Friday – April 13
·      QiGong class by Diana Wells, certified and licensed QiGong Healer and Teacher. 10:30am
