 Tellington Touch (TTouch) For Pets
Diana Well is hosting a class on TTouch for Pets. TTouch – the Tellington TTouch – is a method based on circular movements of the fingers and hands all over the body. The intent of the TTouch is to activate the function of the cells and awaken cellular intelligence – a little like “turning on the electric lights of the body.” This program is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19th from 6:30-7:30pm. We request that you please leave your pets at home for this program.

 Mastodon Talk
Dr. Robert Feranec, curator of Pleistocene Vertebrate Paleontology and curator of Mammalogy will be hosting a talk at the library about the Cohoes Mastodon on Wednesday, September 26th at 6:30pm.


 Local Author, Catherine Bruns, Visits Library
On October 17, at 6 pm at the Cohoes Public Library, we are proud to present local mystery writer Catherine Bruns. Catherine is a USA Today bestselling author of 4 different cozy mystery series – Cookies & Chance about a bakery in the Buffalo area, the Cindy York real estate series set in Upstate NY, & the Carrie Jorgenson series featuring a waitress new to Hawaii.


 29th Annual Autumn Affair
Join us on Sunday, November 4th at the Ukrainian-American Citizen Club, 1 Pulaski Ave, Cohoes, for the Friends of the Cohoes Public Library 29th Autumn Affair. Historical mystery author, Eleanor Kuhns, will be the featured entertainment at the Affair. Social hour begins at 12 noon followed by a luncheon buffet from 1-3pm Tickets are $28.00 with all proceeds going to the Friends of the Cohoes Public Library.

 Michael G. Stanton of Halliday Financial
Michael G. Stanton will be here on December 3rd at 6:30pm to give a talk on the basics of Medicare. From Part A to IRMAA, learn the fundamentals of how each section of Medicare works in this class aimed at making complex information easy-to-understand.

Learn about the Cohoes Mastodon from Noted New York State Museum Scientist, Dr. Robert Feranec!

Dr. Robert Feranec, curator of Pleistocene Vertebrate Paleontology, Curator of Mammalogy at the New York State Museum will be here at the Library on Wednesday, September 26 at 6:30pm, to give a talk on the Cohoes Mastodon. Learn about Mastodon’s and the world they lived in, as well as the fate of the famous Cohoes Mastodon.
