The Cohoes Public Library is now collecting rechargable batteries for recycling. Bring down your rechargable batteries, bag and seal them up in the plastic bags provided and drop them in the box. We’ll take care of the rest. We are still collecting traditional household batteries (AAA, AA, 9V, C, D) but that is a seperate program and there is a seperate box available for those.

New Bean Bag chairs, donated by The Friend’s of the Cohoes Public Library, have been delivered to the library. Two sizes – small for kids and large for teens and adults. I can personally vouch for their comfort and fun.

Playaway Views – hand-held video players that come pre-loaded with multiple children stories set to video – are available at the Cohoes Public Library. Come on down and check them out.
